Question: What breed of cattle do you raise?

Answer: We raise 100% grass-fed Black Angus cattle, certified organic, and raised through regenerative farming practices.

What does "100% grass-fed" mean?

Our cattle are grass-fed for their entire lives. They never eat grains nor are they raised in feedlots. About 25 years ago, we were one of the pioneering producers of grass-fed beef, long before it became a trend. We remain committed to our original vision: "grass-fed" means that our cattle only eat grass and other forage throughout their lives.

These animals feed on a variety of native grasses, wildflowers, and small shrubs that grow on the mountain pastures. On our own ranches, in addition to the hay harvested from these fields, they enjoy a variety of grasses and legumes, such as clover and alfalfa.

Are they certified organic?

Yes, we have organic certification from the EU Ministry of Agriculture and from Italy’s organic food certification. Both certifications include 1-2 days of on-site inspections.
